15th Annual Mammoth Festival of Beers and Bluesapalooza

This three day event takes place outdoors among the pines with California's Eastern High Sierra as a backdrop. Mammoth's most talked about summer event, includes the Festival of Beers Grand Tasting with more than 70 microbreweries and Bluesapalooza featuring a variety of top blues performers from around the country. 2010 Performers:
Headlining this year’s Bluesapalooza is the powerful Los Lonely Boys - a fusion of blues, soulful grooves and Latin beats; the legendary Dave Mason - a founding member of Traffic and one the world’s most acclaimed musicians; and 2010 Grammy Nominee Ruthie Foster - soulful and electrifying. Other well-known performers include the wickedly intense, southern blues of the Chris Duarte Group; the blues powerhouse and diva Shemekia Copeland; the jazz tinged, blues soaked sounds of Duke Robillard (also a 2010 Grammy Nominee); the Latin blues grooves of The Delgado Brothers; and a special guest band to be announced soon.

Enjoy art in the outdoors at the 38th Annual Mammoth Lakes Fine Arts & Crafts Festival August 6-8, 2010. The fun, family event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday and gives attendees the opportunity to meet with celebrated artists from throughout California and surrounding states as they present their original works against the majestic background of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The 38th Annual Mammoth Lakes Fine Arts & Crafts Festival takes place on the grounds of Kittredge Sports, at the corner of Highway 203 (Main Street) and Forest Trail in Mammoth Lakes. On display will be a wide variety of arts and crafts including photography, watercolor and oil paintings, ceramics, jewelry, woodwork and much more.
